Soul Care

Usually people say self care, but this post is named Soul Care for many reasons. One: While I do need to do a better job of taking care of myself, it's my mental health and my mental wellbeing that really needs the care. I've been honestly struggling with taking care of myself since my child was born. I had severe postpartum anxiety and we didn't figure all of it out until a year later.
I follow @soulcareastrology on Instagram (and you definitely should too!!) and I've been using the 2023 planner since about April? And it's the best. Honestly. It asks questions at the end of every week, at the beginning and end of every month, and at every Full Moon, every New Moon, every Quarter Moon...and it's just so...it makes you actually think and actually contemplate your answers. It's not just a random answer here and there, it makes you think. About what makes you happy, what you're grateful for, what you can do to make you more successful at life.
I most definitely recommend, with my whole heart, this planner. Absolutely go and purchase the 2024 planner. In other ways of taking care of myself, I'm doing my bullet journal for 2024, I'll share that when I'm actually finishing pages. ;) I'm going to try to figure out a foolproof schedule for my son and I during the day. I definitely need to input time for myself. I've always focused on other people more than myself, my entire life. It just was amplified when I had a child? I don't know how to describe it. My mantra when I'm struggling is at least my child is happy and healthy. I need to be more intentional in taking care of myself and actually trying to do something about it. So, I'll keep you updated on this process throughout the new year. :) My question for all of you? What do you do to take care of yourself? Do you have a foolproof way? Is there something that's extra special and it never fails? Let me know in the comments and we'll work together! :) Love, Candace
